Travel the world while you change the world

Study abroad

Live music, vintage shopping, street food, coffee culture, international sport – whatever your scene, you’ll find it in Nottingham. We’re close to East Midlands airport and a two-hour direct train from London.

Vibrant city

Ask a student what makes UoN so special, and our campuses are top of their list. Acres of green space, landscaped gardens – even our own boating lake. It’s the perfect backdrop to your studies.

Serene campus

Whether you have a plan or you’re still figuring it out, we’ll help you kickstart an amazing career. We’ve been in the top ten most targeted universities by employers for the last eight years running, according to High Fliers Research.

“My favourite thing about Nottingham is having this large, beautiful campus where there’s so much nature, and a city centre which isn’t too overwhelming but there are always events on. The balance of the city and the campus just really appeals to me.”

First year Civil Engineering student

“It felt like home as soon as I moved in – I remember all my housemates standing outside our doors, I started speaking to them and I just felt an instant connection. I felt like I’d known them for a very long time and it was the best feeling ever.”

But don’t just take our word for it…

Normal says the way things are is the way they have to be. We disagree.

We are currently taking bookings for our campus visits. However, in light of the coronavirus situation, please be aware that a decision to cancel these physical events may be taken at any time by the university, for example, because government guidance changes, the university considers that the risks to the health and safety of staff and/or those attending cannot reasonably be mitigated or there are other circumstances in which the university considers that it is not reasonable to proceed (for example insufficient numbers attending). Please note that the university will not reimburse any costs incurred (for example travel or accommodation costs) and/or be responsible for any losses suffered in attending or planning to attend a campus visit that is cancelled for any reason. If the event is cancelled, we will notify all those who have booked as soon as reasonably possible.
